Black Magic

by - October 01, 2014

Happy October and welcome to my favorite blogpost thus far!! I cannot believe it's already a new month- seriously where did time go?  To be honest, I'm kinda happy. September sucked *face palm*.... you remember that song by Green Day that goes "wake me up when September ends" sadly that's exactly how I felt ALL MONTH. On the bright side -I'm excited about the new month, ready to start fresh and hopefully kick some ass in my new pursuits! I do wish you all the best of luck and all the richest blessings for this October as well (:

Wearing "Rich Fig" by Mary Kay lipstick and "Merlot" shellac manicure
Some people fail to believe I'm a faerie, but it's true. It's just that I can only use my magic when adorned in full black ( Its one of those things like how Samson was only strong when his hair was long- same concept). ^.^. But anyhow I love this look because I felt like a little gypsy faerie aka, my true self! If you haven't figured it out as yet, this is not a dress- I'm wearing a chiffon black button down (same one from my Morning Stroll post) and a double slit skirt from local line Aesthetic. I figured a plunging neckline would do this necklace more justice so I improvised by tucking the collar and buttons under to create this "new" top.

My boots were gifted (like 4 or 5 years ago!) by my sweet friend Jessica (from Jessica In The Kitchen blog).

The coin necklace, I scored on Ebay from a Chinese vendor!

Looking at these images though and with Halloween just around the corner- all I need is a broom and pointy hat for a perfect witch's costume! Haha

until next time,
Do Good, Dress Well
